Starting with July 1, new VAT rules come into force for distance sales

    In July, 2021,  new regulations are being introduced concerning the legislative framework for e-commerce, as well as changes to the VAT registration system. The existing thresholds for distance sales to consumers in other EU member states (€35,000 or €100,000, depending on the member state) will be abolished and replaced with a new EU-wide threshold of €10,000. 👉 You can find information here about the obligations of an electronic interface that facilitates distance sales.
